Christmas Show
Saturday 19 December // Clancy's Fremantle

Freo born folk-rocker Carus Thompson is loving life back in WA. After 14 years in Melbourne-town he's now been back home almost a year and he's playing a Christmas show with his full band to celebrate Saturday 19 December at Clancys Fish Pub Fremantle.

This is only the second city band show for Thompson this year so it's sure to be packed out!

Very, very special guest, the incredibly talented multi-award winning Nathan Gaunt fills out the bill, making this a gig not to miss. As well as being an incredible songwriter Nathan's a guitar virtuoso and possesses one of the most beautiful voices you're ever likely to hear. He'll play a set to open and then join Carus & his band as they get the room pub-rocking and grooving - Freo Christmas style!

Originally coming to prominence as part of the explosion of the roots scene, Carus Thompson is a gifted songwriter and storyteller. He travels, he observes and he writes it all down, but he is no disengaged cynic.

His energetic, passionate and genuine pub-rock approach to performance, sets him apart from the majority of singer-songwriters.

He's no show gazer. He gives every gig his all, and he’s built a legion a fans through Europe and Australia because of it.

Worldwide, Carus Thompson has sold over 30,000 albums independently and supported luminaries such as Dave Matthews, Damien Rice, Jack Johnson as well as good friends John Butler, Xavier Rudd and The Waifs.

He’s wowed audiences at all the major festivals and after five studio albums continues to hold a well earned reputation as one of this country's hardest working and best acoustic artists.

Don't miss this one off special gig.
