China Blue (aka Darren Forster) first picked up a guitar at the age of 20 and has toured around Australia with his sometimes heart-wrenching, sometimes eye-opening, always captivating songs.

A blues singer not by choice but by voice, the unique vocals through which his lyrics are expressed enable this solo artist to capture an audience from the opening note and carry them along an inspiring road.

From this process has emerged “The China Blue Experiment”, a recent union of some of Perth’s most exciting talent. Simon Kelly, Troy Genoe, Gordon Cant and John Brown, together with China Blue, bring with them a wealth of experience and are performing in and around Perth with great success.

With China Blue as the foundation, The Experiment offers a variable line up, from a solo act to a five piece and is available to perform as an Original or Covers band - a versatility that means the act always provides the best possible musical experience.
