Kat Kinley

Kat Kinley is a WA born keyboardist, vocalist and acoustic guitarist.

Kat began learning the piano at age 6 and started singing professionally at 12 with the WA Opera.

She graduated from WAAPA after 4 years (2 of classical piano & then 2 more of jazz vocals) and during that time, picked up her first major solo gig at the Burswood, performing as a pianist/vocalist for the pre-show dinners at the Showroom (namely for Michael Jackson, John Farnham and the season of Glynn Nicholas’ production Kissing Frogs).

Kat continued her musical sojourn playing solo cocktail work in Queensland and Melbourne, and then travelled overseas to Japan and then the United Arab Emirates, where she received invitations in both countries to extend her contract.

With the experience of playing such gigs, Kat’s repertoire has expanded to suit the tastes of her varied audiences, which spans from the old 50-60s songs right up to today’s Top 40.

Kat now performs regularly in Perth, playing both solo gigs and with various duo, trio & band line-ups.
