Sophie Jane
Sophie Jane has been writing and performing her own sweet stylings of the pop genre for over ten years and she is now a permanent fixture on the WA live music scene.
When asked about musical style, Sophie Jane is as lost as most contemporary musos. “I’m the worst person to ask! I’m a mixture. I’m an absolute mixture. I used to be country and I’ve still got the country roots in me, but I’ve now got an acoustic pop sound…with a bit of rock and folk in it as well…” This brazen-haired songstress fuses pop fundamentals with a touch of indie, a hint of roots and a generous helping of small-town girl. Sophie Jane is a regular fixture at many live venues and annual events across WA and is available in solo, duo and 4-piece band format (Sophie Jane & The Chilli Bin Boys).
