Alex Turner

Alex Turner is a Manchester born singer songwriter. With over 7 years of live performance experience clocked locally and domestically, he finds comfort blending his soul and hip-hop influenced folk music.

Honest and energetic shows reflect his lust for vocal improvisation around truthfully crafted lyrics. With a large eclectic repertoire of contemporary and popular songs, Alex can offer music tailored to suit any crowd.

At age 17, a government music grant allowed Alex to travel through Europe and India for 7 months, performing and gaining international mentorship from numerous respected individuals and organisations, including Abbey Roads technician Andy Walter. Currently, Alex now studies Music Composition at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

As usual you guys delivered :-). Alex was fantastic, everyone enjoyed his music - he was a hit! Thanks so much for organising and I would recommend Alex to anyone. Please pass on my thanks to him as well.

Kendell Ball – October 2015

Many thanks to Alex Turner, he was brilliant.

Sarah Rawlings – October 2015

We thought Alex was fabulous! Alex is a great musician and super sweet guy. He was prompt on arrival, professional and has a really great unique sound. He was interactive with the audience, which others have not done before but it was appreciated. Civic events can be a little dull but he had us (staff) all bouncing around with his mello, upbeat tunes.

Casey Sparks (Council Event) – May 2016

Alex was flippin' incredible! We loved having him at our wedding.

Sarah D'Costa (Wedding) – October 2016

Alex is incredibly talented and all our guests became very fond of him.
His selection of music was superb and his excellent interaction with the crowd

who were here on Saturday.

Shelley Ure (Private Function) – November 2016

Alex Turner was a hit on Friday night! He was very easy going, well adapted to our crowd and the song choices were fantastic... It was only a small room and he seemed to always have the volume just right… Multiple people commented on his talent and friendly nature at the event.

Jessica Carter (Corporate Event) – December 2016

Alex was fantastic! He was so easy to deal with and had great communication leading up to the day which put us at ease, he was also more than happy to learn a few special songs for us which we really appreciated. Our guests had very positive things to say about him, we only wish we had the opportunity to listen to him during the pre dinner drinks instead of having photos!

Lauren Delfante (Wedding) – February 2017

Alex was fantastic! Everyone has commented on how it set a great mood for the reception and how professional and talented Alex was. We are really pleased with everything

Chloe McClements (Wedding) – February 2017

Just wanted to let you know that I had Alex Turner at my event today and it was very successful. He was early to site and very prepared. My clients and several members of the public approached me during the event to advise me of how happy they were with the music being played throughout the event.

Carla (Community Event) – November 2017

Just a quick email to let you know that Alex was fantastic at our Channel Swim event. He has such a beautiful voice and everyone really enjoyed him playing. I think he even had a few fans that hung around for a number of hours!
